An Apple Watch gives MOTA the best data (HRV, sleep, workouts). Garmin sync is in beta. You can still use MOTA without a watch — you'll log workouts manually and recovery becomes self-reported.
After App Store fees, 100% of net margin is transferred monthly to vetted UAF support funds. Transfers and receipts are published in-app and on our public ledger. Audited by a third party every quarter.
The plan adapts. Flag an injury and MOTA reroutes around it — swim-only blocks, gym rehab, shortened ramps. Miss a week and the coach rebuilds your base instead of shaming you into a broken session. (It will, however, have something to say.)
